On 5 March, our school’s Chinese Dance Team participated in the 62nd Schools Dance Festival, organized by the Hong Kong Schools Dance Association. With their performance Grace of the Fan (Han ethnic dance), the team once again captured the highest-level award in the Chinese Dance (Group Dance) – Secondary School Category: the Honours Award.

In the performance, the students infused the elegance of traditional fan dance with lively and expressive movement. Through the rhythmic opening and closing of the fans, they crafted a refreshing and fluid stage picture with graceful and innovative choreography. The piece highlighted a renewed interpretation of traditional beauty, earning unanimous praise from the adjudicators. The dancers’ solid technique and sincere dedication to dance culture were clearly reflected, making this achievement truly well deserved.
