If you are using any version of Window XP, you may discover that this VB 5.0 CCE does not work properly for you. This may due to the clash of some *.dll files and different registry for Window XP and older version of Window O/S. I solved the problem after asking advice from our I.T. technicians, try this:
Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Program Compatibility Wizard, follow the instructions at the dialogue boxes. Further details can be found at the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 301911.
Of course, the most important thing is to install the Window XP Service Pack 2 at your Window XP, find further details at http://www.microsoft.com
Basically, this is a rather easy-to-use FTP software. Set the host name as: student.tanghin.edu.hk, and then enter the student's ID number as the login name and enter the password, the program should be able to connect your computer to the school server. If the connection is not successful, turn off the program and restart it again. If you still suffer from unsuccessful connection, try to ask for advice at the I.T. technicians of school.
