Australia Summer Study Tour 2006 (14 th Jul - 4 th Aug) had an educational as well as a recreational basis. It provided an opportunity for students to learn English in an authentic environment and develop a worldwide vision. During the 3 weeks in Perth, our students attended English enhancement classes at Edith Cowan University. Other than this, they explored the local culture by visiting different tourist spots. To make the study tour a more valuable experience, students had to investigate an aspect of life in Perth. Through working on a project in groups, they could have an insight into topics like English training, sightseeing, excursions, cultural experiences, integration with host families etc .
